BROADBEACH have had a very solid pre-season to date which is set to ramp up again this month, with the CATS set to travel to Brooms Head, NSW for a pre-season camp this weekend. Led by Captain Josh Searl and Head of Development Peter Hill, the CATS will partake in a 2 day camp. Whilst physical challenges lay ahead for the group around the scenic town, there will also be a number of mental activities for the teams. Will be a great weekend for all involved. On the training track at Subaru Oval, the club is travelling really well after the Christmas break. Having re-signed 15 players from our Grand Final team so far and boosting our list with a number of recruits for season 2021, we look like being a strong contender for this coming QAFL season again. With a number of talented young players at the SUNS academy and our SHARKS VFL aligned players, our list is really strong. Our group is very fit and healthy thanks to our Strength and Conditioning Coach Jordan Siebenhausen who is doing an amazing job this pre-season. Of course our club can not function without the support of our volunteers and we thank them all for their help thus far. Senior Coach Craig O'Brien is really pleased with where the group is at this pre-season and the coaching staff will get a stronger indication to where the list is at over the next month.
